Low Nation Rank? (Answered, thanks guys!)

I used to be in the 147,000 range, and now after 10+ or so issues, I'm at the 250,000 range, am I just terrible with choices? Or is it just bad luck?
I don't mean to whine, if it sounds like it, and I don't care too much for Rank, I'm just wondering why I've went down so much in such a short time. :(

Are you talking about your manufacturing stat? Every stat has it's own rank in the world; you can see here. Your nation is pretty new which means it's a little more volatile; you have less of a history so the effect of each issue answered is more pronounced.

I'm talking about my overall rank, but each issue being more pronounced is probably why I've had such a staggering effect.

That is what you are ranked for the daily stat, not your real rank. It changes everyday because the daily special changes everyday.

One thing to pay attention to is that every day the “world census” changes. It’ll display a different stat each day. Tomorrow it might show one of your high stats - like authoritarianism - and then you’ll have a higher rank.

So sorry, I'm new at this, and didn't realize it was specifically one stat-
