I don't mean to sound rude at all, if I did, but I don't think a publisher would know of NationStates in the first place.

And I am aware that self-publishing can present problems, but even if issues arise, you keep going. Lots of authors can have difficulties in finding agreeable publishers, but such is the nature of the craft.

Yes, this isn't really the point. The point is that it's out there first.

Anyway I'm not trying to dissuade you, just be aware that NS is ultimately just a forum with a few hundred users at most, very few of whom will share your interests.
