[NEW POLL 2] Sickening Crimes in Which They Got Away

What are some of the worst crimes you have heard of in which the preparator/s got away for the crimes? For me, it would be the Junko Furata Case. This is one of the most sickening crimes I have seen and I am absolutely disgusted that her attackers are still free to this day. Feel free to post your own crimes or discuss ones that have already been mentioned.

Many of the Japanese war criminals in Unit 731 (the most horrifying kind of human experimentation you can possibly think of) weren't punished because the USA acquired their data and in exchange didn't punish them ("scientific data").

I was gonna joke around, saying Scott Morrison for taking a vacation whilst his country was burning but then I realised, wow this thread's gonna go down a very political path someday

It's hard to understand what you mean when you say they "got away" when the four main perpetrators in your example were caught, prosecuted and convicted.
