Why would this stop women from going to BK?
I'm going to take a risk and make the assumption that women would see this ad and think that BK utilized a woman in an offensive way, thus making them unsupportive of the company.
But I think many women are stronger than that.

well sex on the beach seems to sell well even though every bartender in existence will make the same joke no matter what gender or species you are

Saint Johns County wrote:LOL, I've already been making jokes about the "$5 foot longs". Great innuendo there. And then "have it your way" and "it takes two hands to handle a whopper". Come on people, is it that big a deal? I mean, it's tame enough that, if you know what it's supposed to be showing, you understand it. If you're too young, it just looks like another ad (I was there just a few years ago).
After reading the article, one of the critics said that the cheese was "just a little too white" and that was one of the most suggestive parts. It's honestly not that big a deal. In fact, I know a couple of teenage girls that would most likely get it for the express purpose of trying to be funny. Besides, it's not here in the US. You realize that we're one of the most sensitive countries in the world when it comes to that stuff, yet you can flip on Disney Channel, and there's jokes about sex (yes, actually, there is some innuendo even on Disney Channel, though I'm exaggerating.) In place like Japan, it's normal to lay on your porch in your underwear, etc. We're just... sheltered, so to speak. It's probably not a big deal wherever they're showing it. Sorry for going off on some long tangent.

No...instead they ask "would you like 6" or a full footlong?" Or when ordering, you can say "I'll take 6"."JuNii wrote:Sarkhaan wrote:So they don't order that specific sandwich if that isn't what they want, or if they have issues ordering it...that doesn't mean they never return to BK. yep. except they don't sell a subway sandwich simply called "the foot long" .
kinda like that newscast where the female news caster introduced the weather segment with "So, what happened to those 6 inches you promised me last night" (referring to the weatherman's forcast of 6 inches of snow that never came)...
all totally innocent... yet the laughter from not only her (when she realized what she said) but the rest of the cast, the crew and the greater part of the veiwership was enough to send her blushing off the set for the rest of the broadcast...

But why is it just women is the part I'm stuck on. The King ads are creepy for just about everyone. This is the first one I've seen in a while that isn't creepy...just entertaining and immature.

McDonalds fries are limp, not salty enough, and taste like damp paper.
