The Feminist-Communist Party has a leading role in society. It helps organize and strengthen the revolutionary movement to transform the working class into owners of the industries they operate and depend on.

The General Ministry is the means by which the party manages the common economy. No individual may charge rents on land nor own the labor of others, while needs like housing and medicine are free for citizens and cheap for foreigners.

Monkey pox has a very low mortality rate there is also a vaccine for it in existence already. Antivirals exist too.

After the United States reported its first human case of monkeypox this year, U.S. media Newsweek reported on the 19th that the U.S. health department has ordered millions of doses of monkeypox vaccine worth $119 million.

On the 18th, Danish vaccine company Bavarian Nordic issued a statement saying that the company had signed contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars with the U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA).

This time the show should come as planned.

BBC:
The monkeypox outbreak has been declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization.

The classification is the highest alert that the WHO can issue and follows a worldwide upsurge in cases.

It came at the end of the second meeting of the WHO's emergency committee on the virus.

More than 16,000 cases have now been reported from 75 countries, said WHO director general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

There had been five deaths so far as a result of the outbreak, he added.

There are only two other such health emergencies at present - the coronavirus pandemic and the continuing effort to eradicate polio.

Dr Tedros said the emergency committee had been unable to reach a consensus on whether the monkeypox outbreak should be classified as a global health emergency.

However, he said the outbreak had spread around the world rapidly and he had decided that it was indeed of international concern.

"The WHO's assessment is that the risk of monkeypox is moderate globally and in all regions, except in the European region, where we assess the risk as high," he added.

**********

To be absolutely clear:

1. This DOES NOT mean that monkeypox is officially a pandemic. There are many pandemics, such as HIV/AIDS, that are not PHEICs.

2. Articles 12 and 49 of the International Health Regulations have always put PHEIC declaration in the hands of the Director-General. He is bound to consider both "the advice of the Emergency Committee" and "an assessment of the risk to human health, of the risk of international spread of disease and of the risk of interference with international traffic" (among many other factors) in Article 12 procedures.

And then it became a problem once cishet people got infected.

Can't wait for people to blame bi people again "because they gave the hets the gay disease".

2022 Monkeypox Outbreak: Pandemic 2: Electric Boogaloo

Postby The United Penguin Commonwealth » Sun Aug 07, 2022 10:44 am

Monkeypox has recently grown from a disease affecting some regions of Africa to one affecting most of the world. It has spread to 81 new countries and is on every continent except Antarctica. The US case count has reached 7,500, with new case numbers rising every week. It can be found in nearly every state. Discuss measures that should be taken to slow or stop the spread of the disease.

No one cares about Monkeypox. Monkeypox doesn't even seem to be as dangerous as COVID. To be honest, it should have been Ebola. It would have been far more interesting...

while that's largely true (although it can have complications such as eye damage), potential for permanent scarring in a society that puts so much emphasis on appearance is going to make many people fearful, especially for their children.

Monkeypox is not "Pandemic 2." Even if we are using the WHO's much less(?) generous PHEIC criteria, it's only Pandemic 3.

I haven't seen anything, anywhere else, that (officially) suggests that either of those things are side-effects of monkeypox.

This thread was entitled "monkeypox are being investigated in several countries". (Make that 81.)

Bold to assume that there's going to be a Monkeypox Thread II, with that said.
