This thread is about the recent shootings and massacres which have occurred in the U.S, such as the Buffalo, New York mass shooting and the Shooting at a church in Southern California. This is a direct sequel to the Buffalo Shooting Thread, which got deleted because of constant flaming and becoming off-topic. In this thread, i want everyone to actually stay on topic about shootings or other massacres in the U.S (or other countries, as well.)

The main agenda for the US is the second amendment. I wonder what is the centre point of discussion in other countries.

It is a logical consequence when your entire society is taught to only think in dichotomies. The view of the other side will become more and more extreme; until hurting the other side seems noble and heroic.

What this person did doesn't take away from the fact that the primary complaint that the far right has- that Whites are shrinking towards becoming a permanent minority in most majority White countries, is seemingly happening. Which doesn't bode well for the White race not becoming extinct over the long term. So long as the people who believe in Great Replacement Theory see trends/facts which validate their worldview, there will continue to be some people who'll take action as they see fit, even if it won't meaningfully change the outcome or state of affairs they're lashing out against.

That people have this complaint is the problem. And the fact that it's defended leads me to believe it's only solvable my making those who have this complaint unable to complain.

I'm merely telling the truth about what goes on. The best way to prevent others like him is to directly address or alleviate their fears/concerns. But problem is, there is no way for societies to do this if what they're worried about is indeed happening. Perhaps it is not for the reasons they think, but in the end- it is a difficult time we're living in for different reasons.

Why ? If you want to solve the problem you have to understand how the people committing these attacks think.

Very few people see themselves as evil. These people killed because they believed it was the right thing to do. For instance because they do not want "their race" to vanish.

Dismissing that does not solve the problem of people thinking that way.

Who the fuck cares if the white people go extinct? I am white and I don’t care. I am also what you would call a race traitor as I don’t care about the skin color of women. If she tickled my fancy; I would get to know her and ask her out.

Great Replacement Theory? It isn’t even a hypothesis. Just because you tack theory on the end; doesn’t it make it legitimate.

You want more white people? Make it easier for them to live. Less children is usually a choice. If you can give one all the advantages, you didn’t have…..why have multiple and offer less or nothing?

"The White race" isn't a real thing, but there is a kernel of truth here, I think. People who've tied themselves to the majority racial identity are probably made to feel at threat by the fact that their overall majority is shrinking (becoming the plurality rather than a true majority, though it's unlikely that they'll ever become a real ethnic minority), specifically because it sort of represents them losing some sort of hegemony. Of course, that's not actually why white folks no longer have total cultural hegemony - civil rights movements and such have lessened their total cultural domination, to an extent - but the fact that people and organizations are playing on their fears of waning power and somehow losing their culture is probably a massive contributor to these shootings.
