What this person did doesn't take away from the fact that the primary complaint that the far right has- that Whites are shrinking towards becoming a permanent minority in most majority White countries, is seemingly happening. Which doesn't bode well for the White race not becoming extinct over the long term. So long as the people who believe in Great Replacement Theory see trends/facts which validate their worldview, there will continue to be some people who'll take action as they see fit, even if it won't meaningfully change the outcome or state of affairs they're lashing out against.

The drug war isn't helping, with many cops on the take. Firearms are rather restricted, with criminals using them quite brazenly regardless.

Yeah, that would be unconstitutional, and you still have hate groups despite hate speech laws. Holocaust denial is more prevalent than it would be otherwise, for example. I would not want the state spying and cracking down on Democratic Socialists because one nut tried to shoot up a Republican baseball game.

This dude needed help, and as I've said the state did drop the ball on this individual despite obvious warnings. I would not trust the state to go after individuals over hate speech when they cannot even deal with forwarding info on dangerous individuals to the federal database.
