In this case it is.

That's an impression people get from the cohort of Americans that would really like the world outside to be some sort of Mad Max wasteland.

The same can be said for the need to be carrying when going outside…..then again…do you live in a crappy neighborhood?

What I read/saw didn’t mention guns. Still; you know some of these people can’t go outside without carrying one. So there might have been a couple….
The thing I saw was that they had cudgels and plastic shields. I didn't see anything about them having guns.

Hmmm? That argument though valid seems to be raised by gun people these days. Has the gun community taken that cause up or it simply argument knowing full well people aren’t working on it?

There’s multiple reasons why someone might carry when going outside. Living in a bad area is only one of them, you also got stalking victims, sexual assault/rape survivors, people living in the middle of nowhere, animals (both four and two legged), and some just like the way a gun feels

The gun community is a vast politically different group.
There’s not one single leader and not all gun owners are die hard conservatives who hate everything.
So I’d say it depends on the person, I support expanded mental healthcare that should be provided by the government and id like to think that others in the gun community would like expanded mental health care too

Attempting suicides can go two ways : you survive or you don’t ; guns are the most lethal way of attempting suicide https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/magazine/m ... s-suicide/
