I'm still not ready to call it. His majority's only in the 8,000 range and most of the Southeast has yet to report in large numbers.

As I trust yours, I'm just one for hard numbers and jumping the gun occasionally.

And now a major projection Pennsylvania Governor: Doug Mastriano.

Shapiro is likely the favorite in November.

Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Democrat: Austin Davis.

Davis will be the first African American elected to statewide office in Pennsylvania should Shapiro win.

Pennsylvania has a separate primary for Lieutenant Governor.

And to leapfrog again with another round of big calls:

GOP NC-11(Asheville): Chuck Edwards
GOP PA-Senate: Dave McCormick
GOP PA-7(Lehigh Valley): Lisa Scheller

In re Asheville, looking at the numbers, Cawthorn can keep making it close, but both are above 30% so a runoff isn't likely, nor do I see Cawthorn actually overtopping Edwards at this stage. As for Pennsylvania, I said I was waiting for more from the Southeast, and it arrived.

A hard night for Trump, and Idaho's going to make it harder still since his losses outnumber his wins so far.

Hmm, I overestimated Barnette's support although she did get what she was polling. As for Trump, it's more of a mix bag: his choices for NC Senate and PA Governor won but Oz was perhaps his biggest endorsement and he will lose narrowly now it seems. I guess money bought him victory in this case. Now, I suspect Trump will get behind McCormick but considering he called him soft on China, that might play to Fetterman's advantage.

To be honest, McCormick is the Republicans strongest candidate I feel. However, as much as this is more of a toss-up, I give Fetterman the slight advantage at the moment.

Really surprised to see McCormick win, seeing as he was third place in the recent polls before the election. But anyway, as a Pennsylvanian, I am relieved to see Dr. Oz being defeated.

Fetterman is one of the few Democrats who isn't worthless, so there is that. But I don't live in Pennsylvania.

Well, it appears I've jumped again, my Pittsburgh call also has to be retracted as Summer Lee is now just 100 votes or so behind Irwin. A race that honestly wasn't being watched.

I wouldn't either: I consider Fetterman one of the strongest Democratic Senate Candidates. He is the right choice but he will have to overcome the national environment, which is not impossible: he's fairly popular in PA and if I'm not mistaken, McCormick's free trade stances I feel will be a target.

Now for another call or two:

GOP NC-13(Raleigh South-Smithfield): Bo Hines

Hines was and is fairly close, but with 93% in, I think he'll squeak out from a possible runoff. As for Idaho, they have an odd law where they don't report for a while after polls close, and not all of them are closed yet anyway.

Don't think he's gonna get hired on Fox if they've got any coke orgies of their own they'd prefer kept quiet.

After reading that NYT piece on Tucker Carlson, I have a feeling that if they had coke orgies, he'd have mentioned it by now.
