On the other hand, Cawthorn's not doing well in his primary, but everyone's still waiting on Asheville itself to report in.

Hmm, he is not although is Asheville a big area that favors him? We really haven't seen many polls for Cawthorn so it's tough to say but early indications are that it's not looking good.

And a few more:

GOP KY-3(Louisville Central): Rhonda Palazzo
Dem NC-1(Elizabeth City-Rocky Mount): Don Davis
Dem PA-12(Pittsburgh): Steve Irwin
Dem PA-17(Allegheny-Beaver): Chris Deluzio

And I'm retracting my call for Evans in Fayetteville-Wilmington and waiting a little longer for that one.

Yeah, but we're just talking strictly primary voters, which can be harder to decipher, though what we're seeing in Buncombe County now says that Cawthorn may be gone.

If he is gone then the GOP blackmail worked. Painting him as gay worked to get him removed.

And now a few more:

Dem PA-Senate: John Fetterman
Dem PA-1(Bucks): Brian Fitzpatrick
Dem PA-3(Philadelphia West): Dwight Evans

Meanwhile, in the GOP Gubernatorial, we see the pitfalls of early voting as Melissa Hart's in second even though she pulled out and endorsed Barletta.

Still not ready to call it yet, every count he slowly inches closer. Besides, it's a Democratic-aligned group that's been doing the leaks according to NYT.

Pennsylvania also has a primary for Lieutenant Governor tonight on both sides. It’s one of few states with a separate primary for the position. I’ll do the call for it if you want. I’ll also do the Louisville mayor election.

Hmm, I see McSwain is leading right now but that should change very soon. Vote counting seems a little slow in PA. Right now, McCormick is leading.

At the moment, it looks like it's all early votes coming in, nothing from today yet.

Ah, that explains it. So it'll be a while then, probably not until at least later tonight who we know won? Or tomorrow perhaps?

Later tonight, most likely, Pennsylvania's not that slow.

One of our final calls from Kentucky

Louisville mayor Republican: Bill Dieruf

On the Democratic side Craig Greenberg has a wide lead. He had an assassination attempt in February. Whoever wins will be the favorite in this very blue city and the largest in Kentucky.

GOP PA-4(Montgomery-Berks): Christian Nascimento

Alright, than not too bad. Should be interesting then what the results will actually be: I'm just surprised the GOP is slow at counting, at least in PA that is.

Louisville mayor Democrat: Craig Greenburg. He will very likely be the next mayor in this very blue city.

Well now, Mastriano's lead has exploded. It's still early but he has 40.5% based on the NYT. McCormick leads with 31.5% but Oz has 28.8%. Barnette has 22.8%

So, we have here a Florida Man story that involves Governor DeSantis.

It looks like he, and the State Legislature in Florida, has decided to infringe upon the rights of the populace to Protest Peacefully, effectively banning any protests in residential areas, including outside the homes of Politicians.

I can't wait for a Constitutional Challenge on this.

Seems likely Mastriano will win. Shapiro wanted him as an opponent. Let’s hope he bet right and the insurrectionist is trounced in November.

Since both parties are busy screwing over the little guy, I've frankly toyed with the idea of boycotting the election. It's not as if Biden has kept my trust or his campaign promises (except to his megarich donors).

A few calls to make:

GOP PA-8(Scranton): Jim Bognet
Dem PA-16(Erie): Dan Pastore
GOP PA-17(Allegheny-Beaver): Jeremy Shaffer

As for the Asheville race, it's going to come down to the final votes if the NYT numbers are anything to go by. Edwards has a majority of 1,673, and it's expected to narrow further still.
