Rifles are actually statistically the least likely guns to be used in crime and only account for ~400ish murders a year. By comparison pistols, which you want to leave alone, usually account for something like~8,000 or more.

But mandating prayer in schools is not doing that; it's forcing children to do things they may not want to do.

Officers at Uvalde had rifles, ballistic shield — but still waited an hour to enter classroom
