Well, he did lose the popular vote, and I would argue it should be the only vote that matters and to dissolve the electoral college. But it was a fair win in accordance with the system currently in place.

And the Libertarian and Constitution Party vote out did the difference by a much larger margin, which meant Trump would've won no matter what. In fact, he also would've won several more states and the popular votes if all the major third parties get counted.

Which would he have won?

Assuming the Republicans were as good about keeping Libertarians off the ballot as Democrats are at keeping Greens off the ballot, Trump would've won Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, and New Mexico in 2016. In 2020, Trump would've won Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, and possibly Pennsylvania.

That's a lie. In many states, 3rd Party candidates need to get easily 3 or 4 times the number of Republicans and Democrats.

The electoral college was meant to preserve the Southern states' partial credit for the Blacks they did not permit to vote.
