I said without resorting to "Trump said it so it must be true".

Technically it began with Barry Goldwater but didn’t really begin until Reagan.
Had the Republicans fully embraced Liberal Conservatism or an American version of Benjamin Disraeli’s One Nation Conservatism I might be a Republican.

Its George juniors fault because he invaded iraq. The failures of the iraq invasion killed neoconservatism and interventionalism in mainstream american politics. You can even aruge that the rise of trumpism was a result George Jr's failures.

Not quite.
Basically, he was leading students in prayer, the district told him to knock it off. He did.
He then prayed by himself (on the 50 yard line) without leading students or anyone else in prayer, and the district fired him for praying by himself even though he wasn't leading anyone in prayer or enforcing or even recommending that anyone pray with him.
The situation is definitely sus, but it doesn't bring back school prayer.

Good for you. Too bad it’s taken the majority of the party.
I miss Nelson Rockefeller and I wasn’t even alive in that era.
Eh, GMS has said in the past that he wants a full blockade of Cuba, including basic necessities. He also isn’t bothered by a war to overthrow its government.
The GOP has been swinging between “invade countries we don’t like” and “we don’t feel like honoring our commitments” like a pendulum, so I’d be careful even if a supporter doesn’t fit in one of those categories.

Trumpists fanatical following of trump is almost scary. Trumpism has some good points, but the stupidity of the "Trump said it so it must be true" makes is unattractive to the independents and moderates.

Yes. Though I’m talking Rockefeller Republicans not Neocons.

You're welcome.
Actual decision is here.
I'm still reading, but both sides make some pretty good points.

In this case the people screaming no can relax a little bit.
