Stripping you of your right to marry a man or terminate your pregnancy sets a very clear example that your other rights can be removed, and you’ve explicitly said you’re fine with doing away with democracy both in practice and in principle. If your other rights become inconvenient for this new regime, why would you expect them to be secure? If a crooked county council wants to turn your property into a hotel or whatever, what’s going to protect you? You’re basically out here fighting furiously for the right to maybe shoot a few rounds back if the state eventually decides to kill you in your house, and you’re willing to sacrifice everything else you have for it.
