I would think this would more likely allow someone to dodge sales taxes, not income taxes.

Sales taxes are all state taxes, not federal, and the calculation of such would not be impacted by overturning Wickard.

For federal excise taxes (some of which operate in a manner very similar to sales taxes, ie, tanning bed tax), Wickard being overturned would not be impactful either.

New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

Does the federal government have a vested interest in helping states to collect state taxes?

I'm just laughing right now thinking of a Congressmen saying that while voting for an important bill (Ex. human rights) and they hated it and accidentally voiced their opinion

In regards to this question, yes I think they should, what hell is the court thinking of when they do things like this?

Not particularly, no. But even if they did, overturning Wickard would not affect that at all as far as I can see.

YES! That shit should have been dealt with long ago.. It's exactly overt abuse like this that has allowed the federal government to grow so monstrously out of control using the few highly specific powers it was given.

One either fights for something, or falls for nothing.
One either stands for something, or falls for anything.

Good God no! Labor law would be the first thing out the window with that! I get the point is that farmers should be allowed to do what they want with crops not being sold as interstate commerce and thus cut ted tape, if any tape at all if it is yo feed themselves, but labor law is hugely contingent on the interstate commerce clause and interpretation and this would kill what weak laws we already have and replace them with nothing
