So I heard that apparently Russian ships are like backing out of Crimea, because I guess the Ukrainian's HIMARS are now being given long ranged missiles that can actually hit Crimea and probably the beloved bridge. Will they? I don't know, but it seems that Russian ships are concerned.

Russian logisitcs are already under a lot of strain. Taking out that bridge would put even more strain on them, especially in the south. If I could I would destroy that bridge.

Because MH-17 was flying considerably above the Su-25's service ceiling (Su-25 ceiling: 23,000 ft. MH-17 altitude at time of destruction: 33,000 feet), for one. The fact that none of Ukraine's Su-25s can carry air-to-air missiles is another.

It would be mighty tempting to destroy that bridge- but also very risky. You always want to present your enemy with a golden, beautiful looking escape route. If Ukraine wants to take Crimea, then that bridge represents a nice, easy way to escape back to Russia for any quibbling conscript.
