Hollywood lies or exxagerates. It's much better if it is real life. Then we can judge it by the merits of the outcome.

And this why we need to expand Gitmo.

Sai posts a lot of opinions that are downright repulsive to the average person, but this is hardly the first or last time. I don't see the point in repeating the skit of Sai saying something, everyone pointing out how horrible said statement was, and acting shocked as if this hasn't happened multiple times before. The guy doesn't mind all the attention he gets for it either, so nothing is being accomplished there. Best to just move on.

Yeah, though the foe list doesn't stop quote chains. Which isn't a big deal if a single post isn't routinely getting 3-6 replies in a short period of time.

Imagine going to one of Hitlers' speeches, being horrified at the contents, then listening to a recording of that same speech and being horrified all over again like you didn't already listen to it before.

Yes, but if your aunt has recently been murdered, if you watch a recording you might discover the true face of Hitler (after an encounter with said deceased aunt's former lover).

I don’t think that the abortion issue will be enough to motivate Democrat voters. The GOP is retaking both Houses. The only option for the Democrats is try to mitigate the damage

The Democrats couldn’t keep their house in order, and they’re going to pay the price. It’s all their fault. They did this to themselves

Hey, I have a question for you americans. Remeber the insurrectionists trying to storm your seat of parliament? Why the hell didn't the guards open fire, and what would your reactions have been had they shot the perpetrators? And called in reenforcements? You are an armed society after all, to me that seems the proper response, bear-arms and all that. :D

Actually I think this is always what they wanted. They're professional losers, their goal is to defeat the left and then cave to the right.

Answering that question would be difficult because it’s complex. I personally believe it’s because there is a culture among American law enforcement of not taking far-right non-Islamist terrorism seriously. I would like to add that quite a few of those individuals that stormed the capital were current and former members of law-enforcement.

Another possible answer is that the Capitol police believed that opening fire would escalate the situation. I am of the opinion that they should have open fire. If this was far-left terrorists or Islamist terrorists storming the Capitol, they would most likely would have open fire.

perhaps american authoritarianism would've given up the ghost -- perhaps trump himself would've given up his

a show of bloody force to defend american democracy could've compelled the government to round up the ringleaders of the insurrection -- not just the proud boys and oathkeepers, but those within the trump admin, from trump on down -- indict and convict them, and execute as needed in record time

definitely better than the death we now see, cut by excruciating cut
