Not de jure but so long as you don't join a group that the US considers a terrorist organization you can't join most combat organizations and not receive any legal problems. part of the reason why so many American fi=ought for the Kurds in Iraq and Syria. Or at least that's my understanding of it.

Seems simple enough then, by that measure. I guess the real question is what qualifies as a terrorist organization in regards to the US State Department. Anyway, I imagine people will privately slip away to get around any hazards to them joining arms with the Ukrainians.

I doubt the US will follow suit. Also wonder how Canada expects to get them in, with Russian troops in Transnistria, they won't be far from an ambush if they enter through the west.

Plenty of Americans already there. All you have to do is call the Ukrainian Embassy and they'll tell you what to do if they accept your application.

Boris lives in Estonia, he moved there last year. He used to live in Russia, and has Ukrainian citizenship. He has family all over the place too. His latest video was a tearjerker. I wonder if he went back to Ukraine to fight. Terrifying, but I can absolutely understand if he did.

there are no native residents of Donbass, these states appeared in 2014 and I fought for them with Ukraine, I have not yet been called up
