The Russian military has a history of revolting when the government tried to send them to their certain deaths for no reason. Hope that happens again.

Seems simple enough then, by that measure. I guess the real question is what qualifies as a terrorist organization in regards to the US State Department. Anyway, I imagine people will privately slip away to get around any hazards to them joining arms with the Ukrainians.

Yah I doubt the US government considers the Ukrainian government to be a terrorist organization.

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

The triumph of the Democracy is essential to the struggle of popular liberty

Plenty of Americans already there. All you have to do is call the Ukrainian Embassy and they'll tell you what to do if they accept your application.

Videos from the coastal city of Berdyansk, verified by The New York Times, showed angry residents protesting Russian troops on Monday after they occupied the city overnight.

“Berdyansk is Ukraine!” they chanted. “Go home!”

“This is my land, I will tear you apart with my teeth,” another protester said to a Russian soldier holding the crowd back in front of Berdyank’s city administration building.

Berdyansk’s mayor said that Russian troops had come into the building on Sunday and told them that the city was now under Russian control but that they should continue working. The mayor said he and the rest of city government considered the proposal “unacceptable” and left but would work remotely.

They just up and left? Good for them, if they did it safely. Any RUSFED soldier finding himself suddenly enthralled in local politics is going to have one hell of a strange day.

This has shades of Reinhard von Lohengramm arriving on the Alliance Capital World of Heinessen in Legend of the Galactic Heroes. He encountered a lot of passive-aggressive political resistance too.

IIRC Boris lives in one of the Baltic countries.

Boris lives in Estonia, he moved there last year. He used to live in Russia, and has Ukrainian citizenship. He has family all over the place too. His latest video was a tearjerker. I wonder if he went back to Ukraine to fight. Terrifying, but I can absolutely understand if he did.
