There is a 3 minute Young Earth Creationism video on Youtube from 2008 (or made even before that) called: Evilution. They perhaps watched that and took it to heart. It basically rejects Theory of Evolution to push for the version of Christianity where the universe has only existed for 5,000 years.

I've been in multiple situations where self-identified straight men have done things with me and I'm just a regular guy. Most people are more flexible than they're willing to admit.

But no one ever denied that attraction is complicated. I know a gay man who withdrew from an encounter with another man because he couldn't get past the odd shape of his genitals.

Even if you had a straight man who found himself unable to be physically aroused by a transwoman in bed, that doesn't reduce the validity of her gender. There are presumably many cisgender women those same men would also find themselves unable to have sex with for one reason or another.
