Reuters confirmationFirst coup of 2022 goes to Burkina Faso, after at least one attempt was put down a few days ago.
President Roch Kaboré has been
arrested by the military, who are currently making an announcement on national television as I type this

Strange, I had just confused Burkina Faso with Guinea the other day and thought that it was Burkina Faso that had been couped last year. Turns out, they both were!
Do we know the exact goals and reasons behind this coup?
