In brief: Ukraine holds Donetsk, victory in Chernyhiv, and Kyiv bombing is on and off again. It doesn’t seem like Russia is in a position to take Kyiv in the next few hours, there’s been a lot of setbacks and the continuation of strikes means they aren’t about to move troops in. Not the one-day war it was shaping up to be, and Zelensky lives. It’s getting late, but hopefully things don’t take a turn for the worse by the morning.

Edit because I need to clarify: I’m watching this on a livestream! I’m from North America and you shouldn’t worry about me being hit by a stray missile from halfway across the globe.
