Favorite animal?

Postby Lackadaisical2 » Mon May 17, 2010 1:18 am

My favorite animal is swans, because they chase the stupid ass Canadian geese.

Close second are bears in general, because I feel that they could kill me at will, but I'd like to fight one anyway.

I guess it'd be people for me, but excluding them and all, I don't find animals subservient to us to be terribly interesting, I love a good adversary.

The bears are out tonight in my area. Going from house to house looking for things to eat.

Yes, but what animal do you like the best, besides people?(Not that I expect you of everyone to like people the most).

Spiders and scorpions, mostly. Poisonous ones especially. Ants, too. I've some sympathy for snakes and a bit of respect for many apex predators. I do not like cats or dogs, and I utterly hate pigs. Especially the potbellied variety.

And here I was going to say people. I don't think I like any "better" then any other. How about gorillas. Bonobos are pretty awesome too. I like their gender relations ;)

I think last time this thread came I picked deer. I really love watching the deer and it makes me so happy to see them.

ailurus fulgens, otherwise known as waw, ponya, and red panda.

felis concolor, called variously cugar, puma, or mountain lion, depending on what part of north america you're in.

pine martin.

most small cats. and near cats.

vulpis vulpis and their near cousins too, even though its become almost a cleche in some circles to say so.

pretty much anything else less then 1/3 my own mass, with four legs and fur.

and of course a large and diverse number of friendly mythical creatures.

canis lupis is in there too.

mostly i prefer small enough to gnaw on me without totalling me, but as i mentioned, there's two larger ones who gave me love that i can do no less then honor and return.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.

I prefer my animals dead, scorched, carved and on a plate, but I also sort of like succubi.

If they existed, of course.

I've never had, I prefer beef if we're talking about food, although pork is a close second, if you barbecue it- yum.

Animals are far more fun and interesting alive and walking free in the forests then they are chopped up in pieces on your plate.

I just want to take this moment to say: Go vegan! Free the animals! Direct action now!

Yes, we should try and keep on the topic which is what is your favorite animal, I really do like bears and hope to one day taste them because they are a worthy adversary for man, how about everyone else, why do you like your favorite animal?

If you're a vegan how can you say whether an animal is more interesting alive or as food not having tasted any recently?

Veggies are as much my friends as animals are, if not more. Vegetables don't try to usurp my authority.

In fact, I have this beautiful little potato I love to talk to. His name is Ivan, and he has a crush on that pickled jalapeño pepper I bought last week.
