I think you are focusing too much on how these issues affect working class whites, when actually they affect working class people of any color.

Global population is extremely relevant, especially in a globalized world with unlimited immigration into Euro populated countries. Non-Euros have vastly larger birthrates than Euros and even in the USthe "White" demographic stat is padded with Arabs, mestizos/castizos. People under 18 in the US are already a majority non-White, so once boomers start croaking en masse, the numbers will be even more lopsided. While I agree intersectionality affects all races of people, I have to stay focused primarily on mine because that is the one I have the most vested interest in. On the other hand, I also don't know how those other races feel about such issues as globalism, but I certainly am not averse to cooperation when possible, but ultimately my solidarity is to my people and our future. This is less about idealism and more about practicality.

I think because of the initial phrasing that he was fleeing the scene people assumed that there was a police chase involved until the police clarified with a statement.

That’s not what’s happening here. It’s not a justification of his behavior but a what led to it. And also a dose of not trusting a word the police say until an independent investigation proves otherwise.

If the police did give chase and he ran through a crowd to avoid the police then the police should be held liable for starting the chase. Obviously it goes without saying that the guy should also face time as he could have avoided the crowd but if the police where giving chase then they need to be held liable for it too.
