Speaking as a non-closeted bisexual man, I fear that by the time that an LGBTQ President might be elected, the country will have collapsed into various countries, anyway. We're more likely to see a gay President of California or New York than of the United States. Forget about an openly lesbian President of Texas, though. She'll have to be closet case with a lavender marriage to even stand a chance in the new Republic of Texas.

(Caveat; unless it's Chely Wright. She's very feminine and would likely squeak by before half of the Texans even know that she's gay.)
