You don’t have to because it won’t happen.

I miss the Cold War. At least back then the end of the world scenarios were plausible.

I understand going for value but at the same time, I don't believe it usually pays off to buy the most expensive anything on the market. If you wait a year later, the same item will be half price if not less if something newer is taking its place, and you can usually get effectively the same thing for less if you know where to look. Name brand just isn't always better. Just that the cheapest option is usually inferior to be able to reach a lower price point.

The middle tier is perhaps the most important. Because that is where producers seem to compete the most over quality. Where as the high tier is mainly luxury.

Amazon gets nothing from paying more than they have to for payroll, if all they need are people who can package and ship products and their business model is to have the fastest delivery times; with good if not the best discounts to make people want to buy from them.

I agree with this for everything except ear buds.

People pay $200 for Air Pods that last 2 hours at best and will almost certainly get lost because they're in pieces. Meanwhile, I paid 30 bucks for Skullcandy bluetooth headphones connected by a band that I can wear around my neck, I can listen for six hours straight and they charge in 15 minutes and barely deplete my phone battery. But Apple in general is a grift, for the cost of a middle-class Mac, you could get a state of the art gaming PC instead and play Red Dead on maxed out graphics.

Also, never had an iPhone because it's a dealbreaker for me to not be able to put any music I want on my phone without any kind of an account and listen to it offline.

You have a sig that literally advocates mandatory boyfriends for femcels and opposes NASA. Yeah, you're not exactly avoiding the troll express here. I'm not a troll. I'm an honestly authoritarian militarist who wishes to embrace the Nietzschean ideal of transvaluating away from the existing social mores. Society is warped and it badly needs a new trajectory, one that is founded upon something more natural, less sentimental in nature.

A lot of off-brand food is the same as name brand stuff. I worked for an ice cream factory, and it was exactly the same stuff going into differently labelled containers.

What are you going to do when the GOP has a 30 vote majority in the House in 2023 and won't raise the debt ceiling? Might want to start gaming this one out now!

what was needed was an ahistoricity
dance through a 50/50 senate and 3-vote house and pass some meaningful stuff quickly, buck the trend, win the 2022 midterms and then fix the country with those expanded majorities

yeah this was never plausible and none of the characters involved were capable of the kind of legislative armtwisting needed

alternatively, EO your way to the moon and hope that substitutes (it wouldn't)

game over was cunningham and gideon

Soda is different though because it is bottled differently depending on where you are. For example where I live the Home Depots sell coke products imported from Mexico because the Mexican day laborers won’t drink US bottled soda.

So your information diet is going from the equivalent of 50 McNuggets and 5 large sodas a day to half an order of small fries, I’m sure that’ll produce stellar results

I saw a lot of posters say that parents shouldn't decide the curriculum being taught in K-12. I'd say its pretty bad optics for Democratic candidates to say: "nah, it doesn't matter what's being injected into your kids' brains at school, you have nothing to do with it."

Those things are made via the blood of some eldritch god. Don’t know which one, but it’s definitely one of them. Other knock-off soda at least can be good. But Mountain Dew knockoffs should be banned under the Geneva Convention or something.

So interestingly, and its more local level shit but still, Democrats actually gained 41 seats through 21 counties in Georgia on Tuesday.

NY had low turnout though. Georgia probably did too but somehow it was beneficial.
