[The Persian Empire of Iran]

That's a hot take? Well, only to ignorant patriotic and nationalistic Americans (same for Israelis and conservatives in general)

Anyways here's my (probably not a) hot take:
I believe that Saudi Arabia is actually worse than Iran (note that they're both still bad)

Iran ain't bad tho. All of their activities are honestly countering terrorist groups like the US and Israeli armies.

Iran has managed to have the worlds fastest scientific advancement (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl ... 20journals.) and also one of the strongest militaries despite all of the sanctions and hell given to them by the US and Israel. Unlike Saudi, which is a mindless oil field, Iran is actually admirable for their smarts and strategy. All of the troubles involving Iran are the faults of US meddling and illegal interferance.

I wouldn't say those two, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of seemingly secular beliefs and ideologies currently, some political, gradually evolve into something better described as religions.

Italian American racism toward black people in the 20th century was a case of psychological projection. People kept insinuating they were part African and they took the pent up anger about the accusation out on African Americans, trying desperately to prove that no they were nothing like them, instead of just saying "oh you think I'm part black? Don't care, didn't ask, plus you can't cook like we do."

Of course, not all Italian Americans were or are racist. And in the beginning, they actually had good relations with blacks.

No, it's just an incorrect one. Especially when you consider the biggest tensions in the middle east have largely stemmed from Sunni-Shia conflicts, and despite their rampant anti-semitism, most* of the major Arab governments begrudgingly tolerate Israel.

Agreed. One of my pet peeves is people who confuse astronomy and astrology. Along with "armchair forensic scientists" who think they know everything about how a crime is solved because they watch true crime documentaries or listen to true crime podcasts.
