That explains a lot. And damn me, I made a booboo.... I just remembered that my old screen has a maximum of 1920 x 1080 - of course I won't ever see any difference above 1080p - my screen can't do any more.

Yours there should be 1280 x 720, what was once called "HD-ready", above 720p you're done anyway. Hell, how old is that thing? Do they even make those anymore?

I don't have a definite date, but from around 2018, according to what I've read online.
It's what we in the trade call a laptop screen, so it may not be as good as desktop ones.

Damn, dude, 1366x768? What is this, 2007? I say, on a laptop from 2005... that does 1440x960, and sitting on a monitor stored away that does 1600x1200@75Hz that was introduced in 1999...
