Well, on the surface, Islam might be the key differentiator, although in the end it's really not. In the 2019 election, the secular bloc supports the leader of the largest Islamic organization in the country while the Islamists bloc supports the wine-drinking pro-American secular military general who don't know how to properly read the Quran. After the election is over, the government and opposition then unites into a gigantic coalition of 82% of the parliament.

The Netherlands: Here are at least 18 political parties achieving the exact same as the past 10+ years, absolutely nothing. No one likes them, they lie about everything, evidence mysteriously disappears and every election fewer and fewer people vote; meanwhile, local elections are even more splintered also resulting in complete deadlocks.

Over here there's one party that basically just doesn't care and barely does anything that isn't gun control (certainly nothing to do with healthcare) and the vestigial remnants of a second one, but the second one is dabbling in fascism so people hold their nose and vote even harder for the already essentially one-party rule.

I mean on most countries, parties are less of drivers of ideologies and more of drivers of patronage groups, where a bunch of important people invest together resources to together advance their careers and interests. If the party looks like it's sinking you should opt out and leave. Ideologies and campaign promises are whatever the electorate feel like it, things that can he forgitten once elected.

On the other hand though, this does mean that public policies that are not corrupted by oligarchal interests are largely run by technocrats.

The Holocaust wasn't bad because the Nazis were wrong about that, it was the pathology of antisemitism and the measures they took to annihilate the Jewish people that was bad. YouTube as a concept isn't bad, but the ads are terribly done. I got YouTube Premium now though.

When I'm on my bed going to sleep, I just put it on the T.V. BIgger screen and all, and I don't have to hold my phone, tablet, iPad, laptop, nothing. Just watch.

There are alot of things that I'd argue companies are doing in pushing for dystopia. Using a credit card or PayPal isn't up there as much as "crimes against humanity" or "environmental exploitation" is. Would you mind explaining why?
