Joe Biden is a fucking turkey. One of my neighbors is legit scared about her upcoming student loan payments. She has been having a hard time getting a job (don't major in sociology!), can barely make ends meet for herself with her current one, and that damn turkey in the White House won't help her and millions of others like her with a simple flick of a pen. Fuck him!

Student debt forgiveness is just a handout to expensive private colleges and the people who attend them, whom tend to be well-off people in their twenties/early-thirties. It is not an investment (despite what lefties like Warren will say) and also creates moral hazards for the future. Also, don’t (solely) major in sociology.

That being said, I’m in support of some type of bankruptcy reform for student debt, and allowing “human capital”-equity type financing in college. Also open to the idea of State regulation of tuition fees.
