The Democrat boat gets bogged down in arguments as almost everyone wants to push the button while the person with the button argues that since there are a handful of people who want to cooperate, they can't do anything.

The Republicans push the button before they were even told that's what let them live.

Dems made it abundantly clear since 2016 that they think that Trump supporters are subhumans to be destroyed. The insults towards us are still ongoing. The feeling is therefore returned to them, as anyone would legitimately expect. Any Dems who thought we would curl into balls and cry about their lousy opinions instead of hating them right back were in la-la land. They don't get friends by calling people all sorts of BS "ists" and "phobes," claiming that they're unintelligent, and worse - instead, they very predictably get enemies.

And yet, in the real world, we see that it is the democrats who are making an effort to keep republicans alive during a pandemic - and not the other way around.

Hell, even in this very thread, the republicans are all fantasising about how they'd push the button to blow up the dems while the dems are all going "we'd get fucked". Not that the anecdote means much but it is interesting.

*Eye twitches*

Of course there are exceptions, but read through this thread and notice how it's the majority position. Not saying that's you're position, but it is the prevalent attitude displayed here.

That's quantum mechanics, and poorly understood quantum mechanics.
And yes it doesn't make sense. It violates basic axioms that we use to understand the world.
But why do you feel the universe is obligated to make sense to some silly monkey creature on a wet rock orbiting an unremarkable star in a slightly smaller then average galaxy?

I mean this could work with the Harvy Rachel Paradox. Save Rachel the DA dies. SAVE Dent and your Friend Rachel Dies. The Only Question is who is tied to the barrel of Oil in this Situation? It would have to be someone likable from both sides. I say Gina Carano for the Republicans and idk for the Democrats

lmao no

the people who really like Trump in 2018 are the same ones who really disliked Blacks, Muslims, LGBT+ people, and Hispanics in 2011. this doesn't hold for the GOP in general-Trump draws on this particular group of people to a unique degree.
Image

specifically, the Trump effect occurs most powerfully at the most hateful end of the spectrum, or above 0.5 on the animus scale
Image

but it's not happening for anyone on the Democratic side. hating republican-identified groups doesn't predict favorability toward any Democratic figures or the Democratic Party. there's just no detectable animus motivating the left. It's not "both sides."

No dood. Special relativity is when you marry your first cousin: which is okay in New York, but impossible in New Hampshire. Simple really.
