Co-ordinating with millions of fellow voters.
Raise the minimum wage, people. Regulate the workplace better. Everything the rich had to say has been discredited by this pandemic. All the rich fucks who talked shit about the poor for not saving money they didn't have found themselves SOL when they didn't save enough company money either.

Electoral politics could take years and years to effect change in one's workplace. A strike can change it far faster.

Hmm what would be quicker organizing a nationwide campaign involving potentially thousands or millions of people or having a chat around the water cooler with my dozen or so colleagues

The fact that one's employer has any involvement whatsoever in their health care is absolutely dystopian. That's not a job, that's a hostage situation.

Scotland's transport minister has said he is "not optimistic" a rail strike during COP26 will be avoided.
Graeme Dey accused the RMT union of moving the goalposts during negotiations aimed at avoiding industrial action by ScotRail staff. He said contingency plans were being made to keep the trains running but warned of extensive disruption.
The RMT said ScotRail and the government had set an arbitrary deadline for the offer to be accepted. Three other unions representing rail workers - Unite, Aslef and TSSA - have accepted a pay deal which is worth 4.7% over two years and includes a £300 bonus for working during the summit.
