There used to be a corner market downtown (closed and been turned into a women's boutique now, fucking gentrification) where I would go get a bagel every weekday after work in the morning and I'd be wearing my YMCA staff shirt. One day I left my reusable water bottle on the counter and didn't notice until later I didn't have it and couldn't remember where I left it. Came in the next day and it was on the shelf behind the counter with a note taped to it that read "YMCA man"

Because people want to see it in a visual form as a materpiece or work of art. I contend that it can be pulled off under the right director/cast. Original Lord of the Rings trilogy under Jackson was pretty good, just not perfect. The aim is usually to be "good enough." It doesn't have any chance at that if producers are inserting modern political bs into it.
