*shrugs* could happen. It's a bloody massive country with a huge amount of natural resource and a well developed very modern infrastructure. If changes in climate make a little more of the land easily habitable one could see a massive population boom. On the other Hand I find that to be an extremely unlikely event and am not sure it would be a positive change.
