Sometimes cancel culture can crack down on racist or sexist people that don't deserve all the fame they're getting. Sometimes it can too quickly destroy someone's fame from one action that occurred 10+ years ago. However, I think bringing these people's terrible actions to light for society to see is important because it really shows what type of people we're idolizing. In 2021, can you believe we're still supporting and giving racists, rapists, and sexists money and fame for being indecent human beings? Cancel culture can be productive in moderation if you're not one extreme or the other.

The question isn't whether you 'can go on and on'. The question is whether you intend to explain or defend any of it, or even explain what you MEAN by it.

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.

it seems to refer to everything from "people withdrawing public support from a thing" to "mean comments on twitter a few days" to "company ceasing to sell something" to "public outrage driving people from their jobs" and these things cannot really be grouped together (unless you realize that this is just status threat all over again)

The desperate need for cancelling 'cancel culture' got cancelled when they found a more race-baity thing to go after. The right is all pro cancellation these days, and they're busy cancelling books, authors and concepts, and removing them from schools and libraries.(Image)

No, you see, it's only cancelling when the left do it. Even when they don't do it.
