At times I wonder how many families has 45 broken up.

At times I wonder how many families has 45 broken up.

Figuratively or literally?

That one was already known. I am speaking of American families who no longer talk to each other after 45 took office.

In my case. Two.

One branch are will not admit they are trumpists and yet defend everything he says and does. We used to get together multiple times a years. We no longer do that. My wife and her cousin used to be somewhat close. It was reduced to facebook and she even admits to hiding her posts (I blanked on the option. It doesn’t block the user; it prevents their posts from displaying in your feed).

One branch is my family. My aunt died a week or so ago. She wasn’t a trumpist. She thought him a pig. Her children however are. We will loose contact as time moves on.

My other aunt died and I am sure of my cousins; there are a couple trumpists. We were not in contact that much so 45 can’t be blamed on that one.

I guess being as brilliant as he is; I wonder if his mis-spelled MAHA? Making America Hate Again.

I have a few Democrat friends, a Honduran and an American Friend. Jerry is a socialist, Pro Cuba, Pro Castro supporter, but Jerry will give you the shirt off his back, Jerry practices real socialism. Politics has nothing to do with Friendship and Family.

I saw a previous post of yours awhile back where you make similar comments. You say you guys don't talk much anymore because of President Trump. I agree, just don't talk politics and problems solved. In my Cuban family and friends we are all proud conservative Republican Trump supporters. My Honduran friend is a liberal Democrat, President Obama, Hillary and Biden supporter, but he is my friend. We can talk politics without insulting each other personally and politically. Jerry and I don't talk about Cuba and the Castro's, but if we did, we are still friends. Jerry is a nice cool dude, Jerry will give you the shirt of his back. Politics has nothing to do with Friendship and Family.

And what if their views are so abhorrent and evil that you can't maintain your own integrity as a person as long as you consider them friends? Being friends with a person means accepting them for who they are, and if you can't accept who they are for whatever reason, or if who they are actively denies the humanity of others, then how can you still be friends with them and keep your own integrity?

The fact you're accusing her of voting against something her caucus hasn't opposed yet and has no reason to makes your claims of her being unreasonable unsound.

So apparently Manchin had a backstage deal with Schumer this summer that limited the size of the reconciliation bill, as well as beginning debate no earlier than October 1st

Given that House progressives have been under the impression this whole time that there was a deal for $3.5T, doesn't this basically mean Schumer has been putting one over on them (and maybe the White House too) since July...? Or do we think it's more likely the White House was in on this because Biden's ultimately fine with a more Manchinoid approach?
