The statistics you keep quoting wihtout citation.

That’s because anti-vaxxers only sources are they see on social media from their friends and fellow anti-vaxxers. Yeah, that may be.

But you're more likely to suffer complications if you're older, rather than younger.

Nope. It’s the same all around. My mom and sister can’t taste and smell.

Severe complications resulting in death, sure, but being young is not as much of a bullet proof shield you think it is.

I think they don’t want to share their sources because any source they would provide would justifiably mocked and ridiculed.

It doesn't matter. Facts do not matter in our post-truth, post-modern world. You can disprove what he says until you pass out from exhaustion; it won't do anything good in the end.

We're not going to get over this pandemic. That is obvious, thanks in significant part to people like him. And it is mostly people like him who are the most stringently anti-vaxx.

Actually I’d say that the light at the end of the tunnel is near.

The vaccine mandates are working, over 90% compliance. Seems that when you threaten people with losing their jobs they comply. So with that combined with the fact that people who have gotten COVID also have antibodies means we are closer to getting it under control.

So Biden should have mandated the vaccine nationally on day one instead of faffing about

No, I just don't want it at all.

I could say the exact same for people who desperately rushed to get the vaccine for a disease with generally mild symptoms and an extremely high survival rate.

I "rushed to get the vaccine" because I have an immunocompromised mom, and I worked in retail the entire pandemic which makes me more easily exposed to COVID in general because I'm in the public. Not to mention my multiple anti-vax coworkers.

When does the vaccine mandate/weekly testing in companies with over 100 people start? They announced it like a month ago and I can't wait until that drama starts at work.

By the way, that has already worked, too. I know multiple people who aren't necessarily anti-vax but dragged their feet who are now getting it because of the mandate. At least 3 or 4 coworkers. And another one that apparently did the "I will never get the shot" who got it. It'll be fun when they start getting tested weekly or get the vaccine how many people can't even do the bare minimum decency of being tested and quit. Because what's doing the bare minimum to protect yourself and your fellow coworkers anyway? Honestly exactly why I don't care if they leave, even if it will be a mess. Its not like it isn't already so.

Biden's approval rating is falling. In the next three years we can have a new president who overturns them, and local and midterm elections will come even sooner. Both can throw a roadblock into what Biden is doing.

That's the only poll saying his approval is that low. Two others show its going back up slowly, so I don't know what's with Quinnipiac.

That's still the only one at 38 percent. Other new ones were at 48 and 50. Its not good, but its possible signs of a recovery. But I don't really expect it to be perfect in the current situation. With nothing getting passed in his agenda and the pandemic running rampant again, it makes sense.

Since we only have two parties, a low Biden approval rating will only help Republicans, even if they wouldn't manage the situation any better.

Don't worry, Americans just LOVE flip flopping back and forth as if that'll accomplish something. Because obviously the party who did nothing for the pandemic is the good one to put into power next, that'll fix everything. Oh, when it doesn't again? Welp, time to flip back to the other party who didn't actually pass anything. So on and so forth forever.
