It is getting more absurd. Why is China shooting its gaming industry in the foot when it is one of its main assets? I doubt if most of the youth will still be happy with how the CPP is tackling youth behaviors.

Hackers. As in, given the lion culture of "I MUST BE WINNING OR I AM USELESS!" they defer to using 3rd party programs to boost their own skill given they lack the time and effort to actually get good.

In turn local players jump ship into other regional servers, leaving the hackers to fight among themselves...

... Which in turn leads to said hackers jumping onto those same servers and abandoning the local ones because it's not fun to play with aimbot against someone else who ALSO has aimbot.

And then you end up with the same problem as before but in reverse, as foreign and local players are pushed back into the CN servers, hackers end up being left alone in certain hours, later trickle back to CN servers, bother everyone there, drive em off... So on.

Are all CN players hacking? No. Some of them are actually good. Are all CN players awful? Not really no... Most are average, but there's enough hackers to actually present itself as a problem for some games in some cases.
