My top 3 favorites (none of which I believe, by the way)

1. That McDonald’s is lacing it’s burgers with nicotine

2. That Canada is trying to invade the US. I’ve heard several variations of this one, ranging from nanobots or mind control drugs in maple syrup to telekinetic beavers

3. That the government is using, umm certain websites to spy on its citizens and other countries.

Honorable Mention: the Ohio Conspiracy. I think it was just a joke based off of the Ohio astronaut meme, but basically it states that Ohio is controlling America.

James Bond is canonically the same guy in every movie and I will hear nothing against that. He is a World War 2 navy veteran, had a wife named Tracy, went to the moon, and is still about 40 years old.

All things related to 1965 in my country. The official narrative used to be that the evil atheist commies orchestrated everything related to the coup attempt. But now that the military regime has fallen, it has came under question and my history book now teaches nine possible theories about what actually happened. I haven't seen anything like this anywhere else.

I guess it's "favorite" in an intellectual research sense, in that almost every source is contaminated with bias and the concept itself being really politically contentious. There are actual, real risks involved if you try to open public discussions about the events. There is also a vested interest in like almost all elements of society to keep the general narrative the way it is, from the Muslims who now have a very effective boogeyman to rally against, to events that unfolded being ultimately "for the greater good" as it prevented possible civil war, to Sukarno's late-stage politics driving us into a failed state (of which I agree) and Suharto's consolidation thus launched Indonesia into a bright path of ~~hyper-corrupt~~ stability, industrialization, and capitalist development.

My favorite conspiracies right now are that the measles outbreak in Samoa was a test run to see how the world would react to a global pandemic, and that the Brits created COVID-19 just so they could blame their economic woes on COVID-19 instead of leaving the world's largest trading bloc.
