It's not, this started because of evidence being leaked to the press about massive numbers of MP's being extremely corrupt and engaging in fraud, and the public protesting and demanding the dismissal of parliament. The President is only using the legal authority explicitly given to him in the constitution to meet the public's demands almost to the letter.

In lots of countries, it's normal for political leaders to be tried in military courts, because the judicial profession is very often filled with former or current associates of political elites and thus may be compromised in terms of bias.

Just look at Egypt. In Islamic countries, democracy can often bring extremist parties like the Muslim Brotherhood to power，and cause the military to gain power.
As of 2016, more than 4,000 Tunisians have joined terrorist organizations such as the "Islamic State"
If the president acts carelessly, the country may fall into a civil war.
