What was the cringiest thing you did as a new NS player?

Way back when I was still in XKI, I didn't endorse people who had a tyrannical government type (Psychotic Dictatorship, Iron Fist Consumerists, or Corporate Police State) because I took stats waaaaaaaay too seriously.

I did a lot of cringy stuff on this site back in my rookie days, but probably the most cringiest thing I did was submitting a god-awful idea to the technical section of N&B.

Now I'm curious about what the idea was.

I started out in International Incidents as a totalitarian nation that committed a ton of war crimes and other atrocities (slavery, genocide, etc.) for seemingly no reason other than the lulz. As well as having some really cringe ideas about how ethnic nationalism was a good idea.

As the Planet Onora I transitioned from a Planetary Constitutional Monarchy into a Peaceful-Feme-Fascist Regime and was serious at that time due to a lot of teen issues regarding a shame for being male, a disgust at the civil and foreign conflicts around, and a desire for someone to bring an order to it all.

Teenagehood is... really a terrible time for one's mind... I should know since, as a player new to P2TM I ended up learning to stop hating myself thanks to the friends I met here who helped me in a very dark time.

So when I started and was at the nation-making process, I chose Zeloria because it sounded like a nation-name or something. But when I started establishing an identity on, my name became less fitting with my nation. I now have to justify why a space civilization is called "Zeloria". Speaking about establishing an identity, because of the "make a meme about AL" thread, I decided to make my nation more "memey", and I cringe everytime I think back about it.

On my first time here, I wasn’t very mature or even polite. Frequently, I messed with people, intentionally annoying them. To be frank, I was a cringey jerk ass who took delight in annoying everyone. Especially the mods.

I eventually saw my behavior was useless and rude. With time, I learned from my mistakes and improved myself.

When I created my First Nation, Fundon, being a n00b I sent a Recruitment TG to someone. Not only did I not mark it as a Recruit, I also just said this: “Do you want to join Fundon?” Evidently I didn’t understand how recruiting worked, but I’m much better now.

Spent a lot of posts spanning several pages complaining and arguing about the price tag of the Access to Abortion proposal. The biggest mistake I've made, assuming serious economic principles and models in an RP world where magic is real and galactic empires can powerwank resources out of nowhere.
