Mine was pretty memorable. I was doing an exchange to Italy in high school and we went to a bowling alley that had a bar and then only hung out at the bar (I assume that the bowling alley bit was a ruse by our hosts so they could pretend they weren't just taking us out drinking). I ordered a B52 with one of my friends, which the bartender served in a martini glass, set on fire and gave us straws. Our mission was to drink the drink before the straw melted. I succeeded, she did not (she had to blow the drink out and drink from the glass).

I've had many B52s since, but none have been served on fire, so this place was pretty special.

I ordered my first beer at a pub in London. No idea what I got. But it was memorable talking with my friends outdoors and being in Europe for the first time.

Probably a Hoegaarden beer. It's a Belgian white.

No idea to be honest.

I like how you think you have to explain what a Hoegaarden is as though their beer isn't everywhere. :P

No idea, I, haven't drunk it in quite a while and since I'm from near the Belgian border and grew up with Belgian beers being normal, I am quite unaware how big their brands are.

For those that think that alcohol should be illegal in the United States, what makes you think it will work this time?

Maybe because people have alternatives that weren't even considered last time?

Consumer loyalty to that particular drug would be pretty strong though. A pharmaceutical with similar effects would help, particularly if it didn't cause hangovers or erectile dysfunction.

I imagine she looks better when you've had a few, yes.

But even more dramatic improvements are possible with psychedelics: the face of a frog princess, but the haunches of a fit young pig!

That won't cut it. How about the face of a frog princess with horse legs and a cow-like pattern with the body of a pig!

I would drink, but unfortunately, alcohol is a pretty back trigger for my acid reflux. Or, at least that Redd's cider is. I drank mead and was just fine.

Kedrians abandon piracy and become a modernized country, founded by reformed criminals who forsook piracy and the citizens are descended from pirates, and still retain some of their heritage such as speech, accent, politics.

I quit drinking alcohol for a bit earlier this year due to the bad heartburn.

No, not really.
I mean, drinking alcohol is something so normal that I do not remember strongly about the first time.

First time for me was in January of 2020 at an Irish pub in downtown Utica. It was a typical bar, with guys drinking and music playing and people just sitting around socializing for hours.

I dont usually drink in bars tbh. I drink with a few friends and then usually go out and do stuff around town like go to a baseball game or go to an arcade.

We north americans have a very different relation to alcohol, in which it is very much seen as a forbidden substance in those early years. As such, school age drinks and drinks at ones coming of age become significant memories.

I've been drinking since I was in my teens.

When you drink younger its a big deal. There were a couple Bodega's growing up that would sell beer to a hairy 13 year old.

I remember when a friend of mine went to Canada to drink at 18. It's funny how by 21 so many people have already drank alcohol.

I've always been around alcohol and remember taking a sip or two from my parent's or grandparent's glass or bottle when I was really young, but I still remember vividly the first time I got to have my own beer when I was like 13 or 14.
