My younger sibling was obsessed with The Very Hungary Caterpillar as a young child, and it is now sad to hear about the author's death.

Aww... :(

The Very Hungry Caterpillar was one of my first books as a toddler.

May he rest in peace.

I didn't read it until I was about 30, when I bought it as a present for my niece. One of the best children's books. Time for the very hungry worms.

Silvedania, the majestic nation.
NS Stats are mostly accurate except for a few things, like this nation is capitalist and the death penalty isn't in effect

News:All trade with Crabaiaia and Pikala has stopped as diplomats meet in Trenaka. Silvedanians are confused by Quentin Tarantulatino's new film, Seasonal Snackbox(This is a Bojack Horseman reference.) Weird song goes viral for making no sense.

As the proud owners of "The very hungry Caterpillar", "The foolish tortoise" AND "Very quiet Cricket", we are sad Mr. Carle passed away.
May his books continue to educate toddlers here on earth. And may he brighten up heaven.

Poor Eric Carle, as a young boy, I loved his works. "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?", and "1, 2, 3 To The Zoo". His passing is very unfortunate.

That’s not true, that’s impossible!

I remember his books growing up. They were the shit in preschool. Brings back old memories, when I didn’t have to do much except watch TV, eat, and go outside with the neighborhood kids, at least when kids still went outside.

I realise that what I thought was The Very Hungry Caterpillar is just a joke about a caterpillar called Cecil who has a lisp.
