Satanist Threatens Mosque Amidst Rising Bigotry

In Charlotte, NC, a mosque is now on high alert. A message from a man claiming to be chosen by Satan himself threatened the mosque.
The man said every mosque from America to Bahrain would be turned to dust, that Muslims had no rights and that “your women and children are ours”, and that all religions, especially Islam, will be no more.
The Islamic center says it regularly receives messages threatening them and Muslims at large but that its never been that big.
It was reported to the FBI but the agent told the mosque goers they would not investigate or make any arrests because the message in their view did not constitute a threat.

This incident comes amidst a rise in both anti-Semitic and Islamophobic incidents, especially in connection with the recent fighting in Palestine and Israel. It also comes a couple days after mosques in New York were vandalism with anti-Palestine and pro-Trump graffiti.

I’m honestly baffled. How is that not a threat? Or was this guy also just “having a bad day?”

It's actually kind of unlikely for a Christian to have done this, either. Calling yourself a "Satanist" or a "Satan worshipper" means that you're denying Jesus, which is actually a sin in Christianity, and Christians view it as somewhat worse at the other sins, since it "leaves your soul open and exposed" to being attacked by Satan, or a demon, or something. Maybe an Islamophobic atheist, that's also common (on a lesser scale).
