No they don't. I bet you think pineapple on pizza is the worst pizza ever yet devised, but it gets worse and it involves the danes.Czarwijk wrote:Political Geography wrote:

That you're particularly offended by spray-on cheese, though, suggests you are actually French.
There is no nationality, which does not suffer in one or another comparison. There's really nothing heroic about mocking Americans from the moral high-ground of LOL-not-American. Every nationality has something to be ashamed of.
1. I'm not French, just disgusted by the bastardization of food items, something the USA leads the world in.
2. While every nationality has something bad in its past, the Americans constantly terrorise people to this day on a massive scale far larger than any other people, and are either ignorant/supportive of it. They shrug at it and say its for reasons of "national security" or defending "our greatest ally" etc. Their culture is also perverted and has infected nearly every society on this world in some way shape or form, and is used as a weapon to topple legitimate governments. Maybe the collapse of the USA is divine retribution.

The proud boys might be a fascist gang, but people need to know that Antifa isn't good either. Any movement can give itself a humble name and pretend to be riotous. Portland has right-wing agitators going to cause problems, and native left-wing extremists thinking they have the right to set up checkpoints.

Maybe giving people guns and a position of authority leads to people acting like dicks with said authority?
The Stanford prison experiment (SPE) was a social psychology experiment that attempted to investigate the psychological effects of perceived power, focusing on the struggle between prisoners and prison officers. It was conducted at Stanford University on the days of August 14–20, 1971, by a research group of college students led by psychology professor Philip Zimbardo.[1] In the study, volunteers were assigned to be either "guards" or "prisoners" by the flip of a coin, in a mock prison, with Zimbardo himself serving as the superintendent. Several "prisoners" left mid-experiment, and the whole experiment was abandoned after six days. Early reports on experimental results claimed that students quickly embraced their assigned roles, with some guards enforcing authoritarian measures and ultimately subjecting some prisoners to psychological torture, while many prisoners passively accepted psychological abuse and, by the officers' requests, actively harassed other prisoners who tried to stop it. The experiment has been described in many introductory social psychology textbooks,[2] although some have chosen to exclude it because its methodology is sometimes questioned.[3]
The U.S. Office of Naval Research[4] funded the experiment as an investigation into the causes of difficulties between guards and prisoners in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Certain portions of it were filmed, and excerpts of footage are publicly available.
The experiment's findings have been called into question, and the experiment has been criticized for unscientific methodology.[5] Although Zimbardo interpreted the experiment as having shown that the "prison guards" instinctively embraced sadistic and authoritarian behaviors, Zimbardo actually instructed the "guards" to exert psychological control over the "prisoners". Critics also noted that some of the participants behaved in a way that would help the study, so that, as one "guard" later put it, "the researchers would have something to work with," which is known as demand characteristics. Variants of the experiment have been performed by other researchers, but none of these attempts have replicated the results of the SPE.[6]

I don't think the local justice system is capable of taking a stand against far-left extremists.

These people should go to prison for at least twenty years, but they probably won't see a day in prison. Low hanging fruit of the left getting teargassed changes nothing.

Hell the fuck no. The DHS acted like Jack boot thugs last time they were there. They need to stay out till there's more oversight of what they do and their agents act like an American security agency and not the Stasi. We don't need more moms and marine vets being brutalized in Portland.

We can get the Feds to abide by codes of conduct. These rioters are a different story.
