Respondents don't always tell the truth. If it's about the economy, why did Trump win the GOP Primary while Sanders lost the Dem one?

Because Democrat primaries engaged in shenanigans, and Republican primaries did not. Numerous Democrats, who mysteriously ended up in Biden's cabinet, ended up dropping out, while Sanders had to contend with Warren, but this thread isn't one to debate how to make primaries work better in the US. I should note that as a result of those shenanigans, more Americans want a third party than ever before: https://news.gallup.com/poll/329639/sup ... point.aspx

62% say a third party is needed, up from 57% in September
Highest support for a third party by one percentage point

With the country in the midst of a recession, nearly eight-in-ten registered voters (79%) say the economy will be very important to them in making their decision about who to vote for in the 2020 presidential election – the top issue of 12 included in the survey.

a point here
when people say "the economy", they don't all mean the same thing
some of them mean their personal economic status
but especially for GOP voters, their view of the economy is heavily racialized (partisanship is a cofounder for both parties, and i'm too lazy to try and untangle it right now)

I can't help but notice the article doesn't provide a source for the supposed claim that a mosque is built every two weeks. It seems unlikely considering the size of France's Muslim population. As for the churches disappearing, as the article itself says, the churches disappearing every two weeks are due to a number of things, including demolition, collapse and transformation. Things like this happen all the time when a building is old and possibly unused; that's just the way it is, and churches aren't exceptions.

In fact, searching their site for the word "mosquée" (mosque in french) doesn't come up with anyything more recent than 2013, and many of those don't even deal with France.

Hm
I wonder where this data came from

Now I am disappointed. I was impressed with the scheduling. Thats a hell of a timeline to coordinate, from both sides of the project plans

It's a real shame since there's actually an interesting angle about how modern neoliberal governments habitually underfund the preservation of heritage buildings but you decided to go with the most boring angle possible.

It seems that the vast majority of reactionaries and conservatives alike refuse to target the neoliberal policies of modern governments in favour of conjuring up a bogeyman that is 'coincidentally' a group of people who are from either a differant religious background or race.

During the Rams-Saints game, a single controversial, and rather bullshit referee call sent the Rams to the Super Bowl. That doesn't mean that the game was rigged from the beginning, Vass. Perhaps we should all take a drink when you completely misinterpret a post that you're responding to, eh?

Sounds fake. Besides, wasn’t there a French mosque that was set on fire a few weeks ago? Or am I mistaken?
