Moreover, some of the scenes in those shows contain violence, sexual relations, drinking alcohol, and other, sometimes, illegal activities.

I'll say that you need a better source, since Buddhism, a religion that believes in reincarnation, is quite well respected in Russia.

I don't see how something like this could be enforced. Videos and be pirated and streamed. I don't know of any anime that promotes a specific religion. They sometimes use the iconography of a religion but there is no promotion.
