Human Rights Watch has accused Israeli officials of committing the crimes of apartheid and persecution, claiming the government enforces an overarching policy to “maintain the domination by Jewish Israelis over Palestinians”.
In a report released on Tuesday, the New York-based advocacy group became the first major international rights body to level such allegations. It said that after decades of warnings that an entrenched hold over Palestinian life could lead to apartheid, it had found that the “threshold” had been crossed.
“This is the starkest finding Human Rights Watch has reached on Israeli conduct in the 30 years we’ve been documenting abuses on the ground there,” said Omar Shakir, the group’s Israel and Palestine director. Shakir said his organisation had never before directly accused Israeli officials of crimes against humanity.
Responding to the claims, Israel’s foreign ministry accused Human Rights Watch of a “longstanding anti-Israeli agenda” and said the report was a “propaganda pamphlet” that had “no connection to facts or reality on the ground”.
“The fictional claims that HRW concocted are both preposterous and false,” it said.
Palestinian officials and agencies welcomed the report, including the foreign ministry, which said it exposed “Israel’s colonial occupation and its discriminatory and racist policies against the Palestinian people”.
The report drew on years of human rights documentation, analysis of Israeli laws, a review of government planning documents, and statements by officials.
It wasn't intended to be at formation, but they're becoming one as they become more and more hostile to Arabs.
It literally always was intended to be one. We have on record statements from the earliest Israeli leaders that they planned to cleanse Arabs from the area and force them out. It's been a shitty ethnostate from day one and is far and away the worst relationship the US maintains.

Basically Israel is in fact every aryan wet dream, except that is jewish of course. So basically different team but functionally not too different.
It's a very sucessfull state that managed to come back to live after over two thousend years of world historical absence. A state with a clear racial and ethnically and religiously hierarchy, close-kin tribal and citizen ethos, militarized to the teeth (everyone include females serves) and its existing in a hostile environment fighting and claiming more and more lebensraum from primitive tribes surrounding them and ruthlessy subjecting them and cultivating lands it as it expands. All while formally maintaining semi-democratic norms and a fair degree of free sprech and free press etc. (except for obligatory military censorship but come on)

Perhaps I worded what I said a bit confusingly.
What I meant was that it wasn't intended to be an apartheid state by the UN people who divided it up, but they didn't really think about what would happen past formation.
Israel has pretty much been an apartheid state since they started governing themselves.

Israel literally bombs hospitals and schools and is refusing to allow the vaccine into Palestinian territories lol. In no world do they protect Palestinian human rights, literally all the evidence disagrees with this claim.

I dont oppose the idea of a Jewish state. But what has this state become. Which is why we must stand up to this kind of racism. This goes to Iran, Saudi Arabia, China and North Korea as well. Standing up to this apartheid state is not anti-semitism. Same way standing up to China is not anti-asian or standing up to Iran is not anti-Shia (even though some people do it with these intentions)
