Except that they frequently dodged taxes in the US. https://www.cbpp.org/research/federal-t ... -or-enjoysOdreria wrote:So no evidence then, just a deflection.
Ok, keep parroting me. Clearly you're not trying to debate at all.

The rich in the USA are currently paying a lower percentage of their taxes than the middle and working classes. The rich are taxed nowhere near enough.

Yeah, ever heard of the IRS? Al Capone got taken down because of tax evasion and even the Joker didn't want to mess with them. Now imagine if they are fully funded to go after the fat cats... which is something Biden plans to do. https://thehill.com/policy/finance/5473 ... irs-budget

The fact that other groups are far too heavily taxed doesn't mean that the rich are not.

You mean like:
The Muslim ban
Tax cuts that overwhelmingly benefitted the rich
Repeal of Obamacare with no replacement
The wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for (followed by American Taxpayers when Mexico refused)
Family separation at the border with no plan to reunite families
Those common sense proposals? Because all of those sound awful and idiotic to me, and not at all common sense.
I'm not a fan of border control but I liked a lot of his other proposals.

The IRS can have as large a budget as it wants, but if Biden would like to get at the money that isn't being collected because of perfectly legal tax schemes then he's going to have to change the law. Do you think that even the current democratic party fancies going after these schemes, especially given how many of their corporate backers make a lot of money from them?

Yellen is pushing for a global minimum tax right now within the G20 countries, making global tax evasion harder. And yes, the Dems have raised taxes for the rich in the past, from FDR to Obama. Biden is no different, he has proposed to raise the corporate tax rate to pay for his infrastructure plan.

A much more sensible method of paying for it would be to privatise the majority of the road network and create a larger number of toll roads.

There are have been some extreme left violent groups in the world, but nowhere near the level of KKK or Nazi/Fascists in the 1920s or 1930s. Sure there are revolutions and guerillas, but those always happen against dictatorial regimes (which includes Colombia, IMHO, but that's another topic).

Don't mind every revolution ever, that wasn't real violence.
