I would say that the civil war era is related to white supremacy because slavery is an example of white supremacy and white supremacy was rampant during that era.

The civil war era discussion I’d say fits here yes though “slavery is an example of white supremacy” is a bit of a stretched generalization.

Personally - I recognize Arabs as their own peoples and cultures. And the handful of Arab friends I have all laugh at being compared to/called white Europeans.

I mentioned Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa above. He “looked white” and everyone was linking that shooting to white supremacy within hours of it happening. Then his name and identity were released. Twitter was scrambling to prove that “Arabs are white”.

Me - I just like being a “true Aryan” myself.

I personally feel odd calling anyone who isn't Northern European white, since they tend to be of a more brownish tone.

I’m not even getting in to Israelis but as far as Arabs are concerned as I said in a previous post I recognize them as a separate and unique unto their own culture and racial grouping.

Actually, fascists were often censored by the democratic states they later overthrown. Not saying that we should sympathize with the fascists, but free speech was not the reason they came to power. Hitler was even banned from doing public speeches due to antisemitism before he came to power.

Fascism and White Supremacy go hand-in-hand. While you can have the former without the latter, the inverse is not equally true. White Supremacy is Fascist by nature, as is all racial supremacy. So it very much is relevant to the topic.

And the "go underground" myth has already been debunked earlier by several users. One of which I believe was Kowani, who linked a source as he usually does because the man's an absolute chad and a living encyclopedia.

The idea is to prevent them from spreading their ideals before they have time to ingrain themselves in enough of the local population. Hitler's silencing was too little, too late. You don't perform CPR on a body that's already been buried.

Fascism is associated (but not necessarily directly) with hate groups and violence.

You are kind of right it is a lose lose situation. The only way that we can have any win at all is to educate ourselves, prep our future generations, friends, family, etc on what racism and hate is, and how to see the signs of hate.
