I am WELL aware of America's past, but I'm still a patriot. Yes yes, any (insert race here) supremacy is bad, duh. Condemn black supremacists as much as white supremacists.

Battle of Blair Mountain is a fun read, if you want a good example of America doing something really awful.

I should clarify that it's fine to be patriotic and like the country you live in, but you shouldn't deflect criticism of the nation under the guise of patriotism, nor should you ignore the very many many things that the United States has done. (And before anyone says something like "WHAT ABOUT IRAN" or China or Russia or some shit, I criticize them too. It's possible to dislike multiple regimes)

I will say, again, that what most people accuse of "black supremacy" is just so that they can try and paint the other side as hypocritical, when in actuality it's just the other side trying to paint them as hypocritical. I can with utmost certainty say that white nationalism is worse than black nationalism, because white nationalism enslaved millions for hundreds of years, and black nationalism barely exists.

If anyone does say WHAT ABOUT IRAN we could just give them the 1953 coup as a fun read too.

In fact the Shah had always the perfect constitutional right to remove the Prime Minister under the 1906 constitution. Which what Mohammed Reza Pahlavi did, after much hesistation. That is not to say that it wasnt a total mess but it wasnt like some people portray it was.

Discussion of white supremacism isn't banned in NSG; it's just a difficult viewpoint to defend without trolling - but it is possible.

I live in a country where 87% of citizens view LGBT as a 'threat' while 45% wants them to be either put to death or deported, so I quickly learned to be picky and strategic with my words. Admittedly, since the homophobia is almost entirely sourced from Islamic teachings currently taught and practiced in the country, it's not really too hard to collect counterarguments from moderate figures, cherrypick nice verses, and make a narrative that advances things in the right direction.

And I'd respond by pointing you towards Rhodesia and South Africa in general, two white nationalist regimes that did far more damage for a far longer period of time. Yeah sure, no one is innocent, yada yada, but in the context of the United States, black nationalism isn't nearly as dangerous a force.
